Crypto Risk Disclosure

Last updated: 30/10/2026

Buying, holding and sending crypto-assets carries risks that do not apply to money held in a bank account. Please read this disclosure before using any crypto-asset service through the Platform.

1. Value, Stability and Liquidity

Crypto-asset prices change. Stablecoins are designed to track a currency such as the euro or the US dollar, but they may lose that link. A stablecoin may lose all of its value, or it may become impossible to exchange it back into currency. Stablecoins are not legal tender and are not equivalent to money held at a bank. Other crypto-assets, such as Bitcoin, are highly volatile: their value can fall sharply and may fall to zero. Stablecoins are not bank deposits and are not covered by any deposit protection scheme. Availability of each crypto-asset depends on your location and eligibility.

2. Transactions Are Irreversible

A blockchain transaction cannot be reversed, cancelled or recalled once it has been made, by Quixo or by anyone else. Crypto-assets sent to an incorrect or unintended address are usually lost permanently. You are responsible for verifying the receiving address before confirming any payment. Crypto-assets are delivered only to wallets you own and have verified with us, never to wallets of third parties. Clients resident or established in the EEA cannot receive stablecoins whose issuer is not authorised under MiCA, such as USDT (issued by Tether).

3. Delays and Compliance Checks

Blockchain networks may be congested, interrupted or unavailable, which can delay a transaction. Transactions are also subject to compliance checks, which may delay, hold or prevent a transfer.

4. Technology and Security

Access to crypto-assets depends on private keys. The loss, theft or destruction of a private key usually results in the permanent loss of the crypto-assets it controls. Software, wallets and blockchains may contain defects or be subject to attack, which can cause immediate and irreversible loss.

5. Issuers, Intermediaries and Custodians

A stablecoin depends on its issuer holding sufficient currency to meet redemptions, and on the banks and service providers supporting it. Those parties may experience outages, delays, insolvency or other failures, which may affect the value of a stablecoin or your ability to redeem it.

6. Fraud

Payment fraud is common in crypto-assets. Take particular care with payment requests, changed addresses and requests to send crypto-assets urgently. Confirm payment details with your counterparty using contact details you already hold.

7. Regulatory Environment

The regulation of crypto-assets differs between jurisdictions and continues to develop. Regulatory change may affect which services are available to you and which crypto-assets can be supported.

8. Who Provides These Services

Quixo AG (operating as NUDL), Klosbachstrasse 103, 8032 Zurich, Switzerland, is a Swiss financial intermediary and a member of the self-regulatory organisation VQF under the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act, SRO membership no. 101241. Quixo is not a bank, does not accept public deposits and does not hold client funds. Crypto-asset services are provided either by Bridge (in the EEA by Bridge Building S.A., a CSSF-authorised CASP; in the US by Bridge Building Inc., a licensed money transmitter, availability varies by state; elsewhere by Bridge Building Limited) or, where stated, by Quixo AG as counterparty. Services provided by Bridge are governed by Bridge's own terms, which include its risk disclosures and which you accept before using them; a link to those terms is provided in your account. Where Quixo AG is your counterparty, this is stated before you confirm, and separate terms for that service apply. Quixo AG markets its own crypto-asset services only in Switzerland. Clients located elsewhere may use them only on their own initiative and where local law permits; they are not available to persons in the United States.

9. No Advice

This disclosure is a summary provided for information only. It does not describe every risk associated with crypto-assets. Nothing in it constitutes investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, hold or sell any crypto-asset.
